Brookville Center for Children’s Services kicked off the year by highlighting staff members who go above and beyond supporting students and strengthening our community.
“Your steady presence, your willingness to show up, to listen, to advocate, and to care, is the foundation of our strength,” said Stanfort J. Perry, CEO.
Honored at the Jan. 13 Employee of the Quarter event were Pam Clifford, a Teaching Assistant at Westbury-Post Avenue Preschool, and Joe Senatore, a Physical Therapist at the Children’s Education Center.
“Pam is an energetic and creative early childhood teaching assistant who brings joy and enthusiasm to the classroom every day,” said Debi Doyle, Senior Director. “She loves arts and crafts and always finds fun, hands-on ways to connect with the children.”
Pam was recognized by her colleagues for being a supportive, caring, and resourceful teammate. She prioritizes students’ needs and always creates a positive and welcoming environment.
At the Children’s Education Center, students, and even colleagues, know Joe simply as “Mr. Joe.” It was his positivity that inspired Joe’s colleagues to vote for him as an employee of the quarter.
“After just a year to make such an impression says a lot,” said Denise Gaughan, Director of the Children’s Education Center. “He came in with the smile that he always has, and he has kept it every single day.”
Students look forward to physical therapy sessions with Mr. Joe, where obstacle courses and movement activities help them build skills in a setting that is both safe and fun.
Congratulations to Pam, Joe, and all of our dedicated staff whose excellence makes BCCS a place where students truly thrive.
