From favorite storybook characters to cozy pajama days, Round Hill Road brought to life Read Across America Week with a spirit week full of imaginative themed days encouraging self-expression, creativity, and a love of reading.
The week began with Character Day where students came dressed as their favorite book characters. The excitement continued with Crazy Hat Day on Tuesday and Sports Day on Wednesday, where everyone wore their favorite team jerseys.
Thursday’s Read My Shirt Day was a fun and engaging activity where students were invited to read the fun phrases on each other’s shirts such as “Sleep All Night, Snack All Day,” and “Rad Like Dad.”
On Friday, the week of celebration wrapped with Pajama Day, where sleep sets, onesies, and slippers brought a cozy end to spirit week.
