Our mission at Brookville Center for Children’s Services is to provide comprehensive services for children ages 0 to 22 with intellectual and developmental delays or disabilities.

Evaluations
BCCS receives referrals and administers multidisciplinary evaluations. Eligibility for programs and services is based on the results of a multidisciplinary evaluation and committee decision (IFSP, CPSE, CSE).
Early Intervention
For children under age 3 with a confirmed disability or developmental delay, BCCS offers therapeutic and support services to the child and their family.
Preschool Special Education
For children ages 3 to 5 with developmental delays or disabilities, we provide a warm, caring, educational and inspirational environment to help support a child's learning, speech and language development, physical development, social-emotional skills, and other areas.
School-Age Special Education
For students ages 5 to 22 with developmental disabilities, we offer a nurturing, inclusive, motivational, and educational environment that inspires and educates children while supporting their families. BCCS' School Age Education is provided in two schools in Brookville, NY.
Home & Community-Based Services
Therapeutic, educational, and evaluation services can be provided to children in their homes, nursery schools, preschools, or other natural environments by certified special education teachers and licensed/certified service providers.
Children's Residential Program
Our Children’s Residential Program (CRP) is designed to provide person-centered services and supports for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) under the age of 22, who attend school at our Children’s Education Center in Brookville, NY. The program supports 25 children (18 boys and 7 girls) in four residences within Nassau County, NY.
Recreation & Respite Services
Recreation services are designed to provide a variety of fun skill-building activities while also allowing temporary respite to parents and family members.
Transition Services
BCCS assists students and families with an individualized transition plan as they grow, develop, and transition from EI, CPSE, and CSE. This support continues after school completion, aiding the transition to adult services.
Continuing Professional Education
BCCS is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education units. Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE).
